One of the most effective ways to keep unwelcome visitors off the property is to provide the fence with barbed wire bollards. These are special brackets for varying numbers of rows of barbed wire that easily attach to the posts. We have barbed wire for you not only in the classic galvanized version, but also in a durable, plated version. We can custom-make the plastic-coated barbedwire in any colour.

And how to fix barbed wire to the fence? This is precisely the purpose of the battens, which hold it at an angle that makes it difficult to cross the fence. You can determine for yourself whether two or three rows of wire are sufficient for your purpose. To avoid injury, always wear cut and puncture safety gloves when installing.
Coated fence for easy maintenance
Just as we offer barbed wire in several finishes, you can also find balustrades in galvanised and plasticised versions in our range. We recommend keeping a uniform finish across all elements of the fence. If you choose to go with the plastic-coated mesh and wire, also choose the plastic-coated posts. Plastic coated posts, struts and wire are weather resistant and do not need to be painted. A fence made of plastic-coated mesh is easier to maintain and will last you for years.
