Gabion is a wire structure for stone filling. Gabion baskets are used in building industry as reinforcing walls, anti-brise walls, gabion fences, separating walls, gabion flood protection etc.
There exist these possibilities how to build the gabion construction, your gabion walls:

1. the more economic variant is to mount the gabion wall from single gabion nets without doubling the side walls - Gabion nets PERM SYSTEM
2. from completed baskets Gabion baskets DOPS

Gabions specification

• Material: Wire d=3.8 mm with special anticorrosive protecting layer Galfan. Thanks this galvanization the life of the wire is about 3 times longer than with standard galvanizing wires. With Galfan wires our gabions are more protected against mechanical demages.
• Gabion nets are welded. 
• Gabions mesh size: 100 x 100, 100 x 50 or 50 x 50 mm.
• Nets dimensions: Min. rozměr od 200 mm, max. 3200 x 2100 with mesh size 100 x 100, 3100 x 2100 with mesh size 100 x 50 a 3150 x 2100 with mesh size 50 x 50.
• Connecting material for gabions can be a spire or gabion clips type C. If you use C clips for mounting then is necessary to use also pneumatic or manual pliers.

Gabions and their application

Application of gabions is variable and very individual - slope stabilization, river banks revetement, soundproof walls, gabion fences, separation wall, decorative wall etc.
