Steel fibres Feramzit®
Detailed Description
Steel fibres for concrete are used in industry for reinforcing concrete floors - so-called wire concrete. Concrete with dispersed reinforcement is a composite material, in concrete the steel fibres distribute the stress between the joints formed in the base material. The fibres are added to the concrete in case of cracks in the concrete. The advantage of using steel fibers for concrete is that they need a minimum concrete layer compared to 30-40 mm layer of concrete for structural reinforcement /cari net/. Reinforcing floors with wire in concrete provides higher fatigue resistance compared to traditional reinforcement methods, reduces maintenance and repair costs, floors are better able to withstand impact - industrial flooring is more protected at the surface. Application examples - standard interior industrial wire concrete floors and parking areas: cut joint floors and thin cover layers bonded to the subfloor, seamless floors.
We manufacture steel fibres for concrete under our registered trademark Feramzit®.
